A training program is being conducted in Laamu Gan from 9th of April to 23rd of April (and still running), involving a total number of 16 participants.

The project has been funded by French Red Cross and training is given by CACTC by providing guidance and an instructor for one month.

The participants are being thought how to use basic tools and make simple ornaments and gift objects from materials mainly found in Gan Island.

In about 10 working days participants have produced 40 items and selling price of the total is estimated to be 3,000 MVR. Some of the products made by the participants are displayed in this exhibition.
